This SYSTEMIX INC software will let you manage simply and efficiently your general ledger applications in a multi company, multi-division, multi-period environment. All transactions are posted interactively letting you know at all time where you stans.
Data base:
Data base applications will let you define and update:
- tables and environment parameters enabling the system entered information’s
- the chart of accounts
- multiple financial statements formats
- notes to financial statements
Operations
A minimum of entries for a maximum of results. Default values are presented by the system and can be modified as needed.
- Journal entries and adjustments : all data being interactively posted to the general ledger by the various subsystems, the only items missing are journal entries and GL adjustments:
- Journal entries that can apply to any period of the current year
- Automatic journal entries, which are generated at the openig of any new accounting period
- Reversal entries, which will apply the the current period and reversed by the system in the next following period
- Payroll entries, for those not having the payroll module, payroll entries can be entered in a skeleton distribution entries so that GL accounts do not have to be entered each time
- Accounting GL adjustments, will enable a journal entry in any accounting period of last year with automatic adjustment of this year opening balance considering the type of account
- GL account inquiry on screen, with drill down access to specific journals and documents
Reports and listings
All reports and listings are automatically issued by the system at period end. Although, user may obtain any required reports on demand at any time.
- Trial balance;
- Financial statements and notes to statements (detailed and summary)
- Budgetary control listings (detailed and summary)
- detailed GL transactions listings;
- Journal entries listings
Period End
When requesting period end, the system will proceed with issuing of all required reports, to backup of updated information’s and period increase. If year end is detected, applicable operations will be initiated.
